Cow´s Milk intolerance

Cow´s Milk intolerance

Introduction:
This is a brief description of cow´s milk intolerance.
I chose this theme to my work because it is a disease that I know well.
My younger son had suffered of this decease.

What is cow´s milk intolerance?
Cow´s milk intolerance occurs when there is a precise cow´s milk introduction.
Symptoms occur days after the cow milk ingestion and generally consist of vomit, diarrhea, low body weight, skin rashes and in some cases fever.
Dietetic intervention.
Mother´s milk contains important protective nutrients against allergies. It is recommended that an infant be brest fed exclusively during 5 to 6 months of life. This limits early contact to proteins found in non-human milk. While breast feeding mothers also need to reduce the ingestion of food potentially allergenic. When diagnosis of newborn infants is confirmed a diet of hypoallergenic milk products begins. These formulas contain various methods of protein hidrolisis.
